RESTRICTIONS
Please note that there are some restrictions such that our carriers can't ensure safe delivery to certain addresses (and let’s be real, there's nothing worse than a lost package). So please be sure to provide your address with specific details such as street number/building number if you have one.
Shipping address limitations
- APO/FPO/DPO addresses in all countries are not supported.
- P.O. Box address is only supported for United States with standard shipping.
- Non-continental Europe countries are not supported, usually referring to the islands and territories affiliated with the aforementioned European countries.
Failed Delivery Situation
- We are not responsible for any failed delivery attempt caused by negligent behaviors of customers. Negligence includes, but is not limited to, incorrect information provided for delivery, such as order address/contact number/consignee's name. In this case, we are unable to file a refund for you.
- If you find that your order information is wrong, please contact us at hi@shopcider.com with your order number and correct information before the order is shipped out, and as soon as possible.
- For certain countries or regions such as Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Virgin Islands, please allow 1-2 extra days for delivery. Please kindly note that you might need to pick up your package from your regional post office. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
CUSTOMS DUTIES
- Shipments will be delivered with duty and tax unpaid.
- All import (customs) duties and/or taxes must be paid by customers referring to local custom policy.
SALES & USE TAX
1. What is Sales & Use Tax?
Sales & Use Tax (“Sales Tax”) is charged by applicable U.S. states to customers who purchase from us using one of said states in their shipping address. We are required by law to collect sales tax in those states. You will see the sales tax applied to your order once you confirm your shipping details and proceed to checkout.
2. How is Sales & Use Tax calculated?
Sales Tax is calculated based on the total merchandise value. If a discount is applied, the calculation will be based on the total after discount is deducted. Total taxes may also include taxes charged on delivery and shipping fees (if taxable in your state).
Your sales tax charge will be displayed at checkout.
3. Will Sales & Use Tax be refundable?
In the case of returns and/or refunds, the appropriate sales tax will be refunded to your CIDER wallet or to the original payment method.
Note: As of April 1, 2019, most U.S. States will require online retailers to collect sales tax on purchases made by residents of those states. Sales tax cannot be paid for using store credit. Users will not receive points for the sales tax portion of their order.
